Meet Polly!
This is Polly which Mom finished last night. She is cute. Click to see her up close. The leg, arm, head and ear fabrics were bought from a fabric store. The body fabric is repurposed fabric from a sample book (see below). The pattern is from a book we bought in New Zealand called "Softies" (but not the same one as the Treeling pattern came from).

Bandanna Capri's
Mom found this easy tutorial (on Blue Yonder) on how to make bandannas into
capri pants. She made two pairs really fast, one blue and one purple.
Meet Daisy
We put her on display at Coyote Point museum for their Earth day celebration along with things that other people had made from the discontinued fabrics that were going to be thrown away. It was cool to see her at Coyote Point and she spent the night there. What did she see?
At Coyote Point we went in the silent auction to try to buy this softie. We won! We are famous! We have named her "Flowertail". Isn't she cute?

Our Treeling!
At last! We figured out how to use Blogger! Today we finished a Treeling softie that we have been making. We made it from a pattern in the book Softies: Simple Instructions for 25 Plush Pals. It turned out well and we are planning on making one for each season. This one is a summer treeling. In the background you can see the pointy kitty we made climbing the tree. Free Pointy Kitty pattern from one of our favorites, Wee Wonderfuls.
