Kiwi Applique

Mom made this kiwi applique T shirt today. It's cool, I like wearing it.

Tamagotchi Plush

This is a plush Tamagotchi I made. The character on the screen is a cutout enlarged 200% and slipped into a pocket for the screen. On the back side it is white felt and on the front it is clear plastic. I designed the pattern. I am getting craftier!

Colonial Wall Pocket

I made this wall pocket all by myself. It is a colonial wall pocket which colonial women used to make. I used whipstitch to sew up the edges, this was my first time. We got the idea from a book called Sampler View Of Colonial Life

Meet Polly!

This is Polly which Mom finished last night. She is cute. Click to see her up close. The leg, arm, head and ear fabrics were bought from a fabric store. The body fabric is repurposed fabric from a sample book (see below). The pattern is from a book we bought in New Zealand called "Softies" (but not the same one as the Treeling pattern came from).

Bandanna Capri's

Mom found this easy tutorial (on Blue Yonder) on  how to make bandannas into
capri pants. She made two pairs really fast, one blue and one purple.

Meet Daisy

This is Daisy. She is  a pointy kitty (free pattern from wee wonderfuls )that we just made from  fabric that we got for free. The fabric was meant to be for sofas and upholstery but we made it into a pointy kitty to save it from being thrown in the trash. This is called repurposing.

We put her on display at Coyote Point museum for their Earth day celebration along with things that other people had made from the discontinued  fabrics that were going to be thrown away. It was cool to see her at Coyote Point and she spent the night there. What did she see?

At Coyote Point we went in the silent auction to try to buy this softie. We won! We are famous! We have named her "Flowertail". Isn't she cute?

Wet Felting and painting

Mom and I tried wet felting. I made this picture from wool roving. It is called "Wildflowers of Spring".

The same day I painted this picture with water colors called "Under the Sea."
