Spring has Sprung Pillowcases

We are decorating for spring. Before Christmas  Mom bought some butterfly sheets on sale. But they didn't have pillowcases left in stock. So she ordered an extra sheet ($7) and cut it up to make our own pillowcases! There is enough fabric left that we she can make a sleeveless top for me. Check it out!

New Ponchos for American Girls

Sorry for the blog vacation. We made ponchos for me and all my American Girl Dolls from a remnant of fabric. Check them out.

Kiwi Applique

Mom made this kiwi applique T shirt today. It's cool, I like wearing it.

Tamagotchi Plush

This is a plush Tamagotchi I made. The character on the screen is a cutout enlarged 200% and slipped into a pocket for the screen. On the back side it is white felt and on the front it is clear plastic. I designed the pattern. I am getting craftier!

Colonial Wall Pocket

I made this wall pocket all by myself. It is a colonial wall pocket which colonial women used to make. I used whipstitch to sew up the edges, this was my first time. We got the idea from a book called Sampler View Of Colonial Life

Meet Polly!

This is Polly which Mom finished last night. She is cute. Click to see her up close. The leg, arm, head and ear fabrics were bought from a fabric store. The body fabric is repurposed fabric from a sample book (see below). The pattern is from a book we bought in New Zealand called "Softies" (but not the same one as the Treeling pattern came from).
